Average Drinking Rates Per Day
These graphs illustrate on average how many drinks and for how long in hours students drink each day of the week. These can also be broken out by biological sex* in order to see differences between how much males and females are typically consuming on a specific day of the week. The bottom graphs are broken out by class standing.
Of Note:
- While some level of drinking occurs every day, the majority of drinking happens on Fridays and Saturdays, with a significant amount also occurring on Thursdays.
- With rates extremely low the first half of the week, a slight increase appears on Wednesdays
driven by non-First Year students. - First Year students recorded the highest average amount on Saturdays, but have the lowest overall rates outside of the weekend.
