Drinking by Locations and Events
These graphs provide insight as to where students are choosing to drink. The top graph focuses on specific locations, while the bottom graph breaks out the drinking by type of event.
Of Note:
- Off-campus parties are the most common place for undergraduate students to consume alcohol as a whole.
- Pre-gaming remains a primary event for all students to consume alcohol during, peaking in Sophomore year.
- A significant shift in the location of alcohol use occurs from Sophomore to Junior year as students begin drinking in bars/restaurants more often.
- Alcohol consumption in Greek affiliated spaces is done primarily by First Year and Sophomore students.
